Top EVs That Stole the Show at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

The 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo saw noteworthy participation from local and global automakers. The event featured several global car unveilings and notable launches. It also brought the best automotive innovation, showing cutting-edge EVs, SUVs, and other cars.
This event highlighted how India is moving toward sustainable mobility with futuristic EV concepts and production-ready models. 1. Tata Avinya
Avinya is a Sanskrit word that means “beauty” and “innovation.” Tata Motors has used it to name their first pure electric vehicle – Tata Avinya X. They introduced Avinya X at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. They made a vibrant entry into the luxury automotive domain.
The Avinya X is expected to be available in the market by April 2026 with a Gen 3 architecture, and this EV is the first one to use it. It has a T-shaped, full-length horizontal light bar at the back and front, showing Tata Motor’s new branding identification.
This EV will be 4.3 meters long and is said to support ultra-fast charging, giving a minimum claimed range of 500 km under 30 minutes of charging time. Quite transformative!
Moreover, the exterior design of the Avinya X is sophisticated and minimalist. With a unified red tail light and glossy black bumpers, the car looks sleek and strong, proving to be tough competition for Mahindra’s latest EVs.
EV enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for Avinya to be launched in the market, with an expected price range of ₹40 Lakhs.
2. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara
Second on the list of best EVs displayed at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 is Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. The production of this EV is expected to begin soon, in March 2025, and will be exported to more than 100 countries; even Europe and Japan.
This first-ever EV from the Maruti Suzuki brand is built on the new heart-e platform that combines the SUV’s durability and the advanced performance of an EV. Moreover, the eVitara has two battery options: 49kWh with 144hp and 61kWh with 174hp, with common torque of 189Nm. The latter one provides an estimated range of 500 km on a single charge.
If we talk about its batteries, they use BYD-sourced LFP blade cells to ensure durability. With an estimated price range of ₹ 17 – 22.50 Lakh, the e-Vitara combines innovation, performance, and a comprehensive ecosystem, signalling Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to India’s EV revolution.
3. MG Cyberster
MG Cyberster is an electric sports car, to be launched in the Indian Market soon. Its bookings are expected to begin in March 2025, and deliveries in April. MG’s first electric sports car, Cyberster, will be available exclusively on MG Select premium showrooms.
In India-spec MG Cyberster, it will feature a 77kWh battery pack measuring only 110mm thickness. Moreover, it comes with dual oil-cooled electric motors producing 510hp power at 725Nm torque.
It’s estimated to go from 0-100kph in just 3.2 seconds. MG also claims a maximum 580 km range in a single charge cycle. The EV features a front double-wishbone suspension and a back five-link independent suspension. Additionally, its 50:50 weight distribution on the front and back makes this EV stable even at higher speeds.
With sleek LED headlights, a sculpted bonnet, and such carved features, MG Cyberster gets a sporty look. At the back, it has arrow-shaped tai lights, and its diamond-cut alloy wheels range from 19-20 inches. Because of all the premium features it has, the anticipated price range of this sports EV car is around ₹60 Lakhs.
4. Hyundai Creta Electric
The Hyundai Creta Electric was launched at the Bharat Auto Expo 2025, and it was one of the most affordable EVs from Hyundai India’s lineup. It offers 2 battery pack options, 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, and has a claimed range of 473 km.
Creta ICE version is one of the top-selling Hyundai cars, and to make its EV version more user-friendly, they have added additional features, such as interior and exterior design changes, electric boss mode in the EV, and vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging enabling fast charging in one hour.
It will probably be a mid-sized SUV with striking LED lighting, a closed grille, and many more modern functionalities. The interior of the car will have a big touchscreen infotainment system, spacious seating, and much more.
This EV is expected to have 136hp to ensure a smooth urban and highway driving experience. With many more features other than what we discussed here, Creta Electric’s price range will be Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 23.50 lakh.
5. MG M9
MG M9 (Mifa 9) is one of the luxury EVs, and it will also be part of MG’s ‘Select’ premium retail network, along with Cyberster. It’s a presidential limousine EV with a 90kWh lithium battery and a powerful motor delivering 245hp AND 350Nm torque.
The booking for this EV MPV is expected to begin in March 2025 at a price range of ₹1.00-1.10 Crore price range. Moreover, the claimed range for this large-family luxury EV is 430km.
MG will offer 7 and 88-seater configurations in its M9 car, along with two sunroofs-front and rear seats providing heating, ventilation, massage functions, and a fold-out ottoman function. Not just that, additional features of this car include powered rear-sliding doors, Level 2 ADAS, and entertainment screens for rear seats.
6. Vinfast VF7
The Vinfast VF7 is a 5-seater compact EV SUV that will have two variants – Eco & Plus. Its design has features like a shark-fin antenna, full-width LED light bar, split LED headlights, and much more.
Additionally, it has flush-mounted door handles and two options in wheel size- 19 inches for Eco and 20 inches for Plus. The interior features of this car are dual-tone theme seats with brown & black accents.
With the Eco variant, you get a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, and the Plus variant gets a 15-inch display. The common features of both these variants are a head-up display, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), along with a panoramic sunroof. Talking about the battery and e-motor, the Eco variant has a single electric motor with 201hp and 310Nm torque.
At the same time, the Plus variant has dual motors with 349bhp of power and 500Nm of torque. Both variants have a 75.3kWh battery pack, and the claimed range of Eco is 450km, and that of Plus is 431km on full charge. It’s expected to enter the Indian market in September 2025 with an expected price of ₹50 lakhs.
7. Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e
Although Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e cars were not launched during the Bharat Expo, since their launch they have marked a strong footprint in the Indian EV market.
Mahindra XEV 9e offers a lifetime battery warranty and is built on the advanced INGLO platform for offering better performance and safety. It has a futuristic design, luxurious triple-screen interiors, and AdrenoX tech features that blend style with innovation. With support to 175 kW fast charging, XEV 9e can get 20-80% charged in just 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, Mahindra BE 6E is a part of their Born Electric lineup, with a compact and stylish urban EV measuring 4371 mm in length. Its futuristic features include an aerodynamic design with C-shaped DRLs, an illuminated BE logo, dual screen setup, and more. The BE.06 delivers an impressive 682 km range on a full charge.
